(We did not write the comments which accompany each picture - Vinny)
Bicycle Type: Lightweight
SERIAL NUMBER: R63874 INDICATES BETWEEN 1933 AND 34 ON THE MENOTOMY SERIAL NUMBER PAGE. THE 3-SPEED HUB IS STAMPED K.7 WHICH I IMAGINE INDICATES 1937. IT HAS A RALEIGH HEAD BADGE (BRASS) AND RALEIGH COMPONENTS SUCH AS FORKS, CRANKS, CHAIN GUARD, AND ALUMINUM KICKSTAND. IT HAS 28 X 1 1/2 INCH STAINLESS STEEL DUNLOP RIMS. I FOUND THE BICYCLE DURING SPARGUT IN BASEL/SWITZERLAND. SWISS AIR HAD A GREAT DEAL ON INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS IN THE EARLY 1990S WHERE BICYCLES WERE FREE WITH A TICKET. THE TIRES ARE FROM MEXICO CITY. I MADE THE PHOTOGRAPH IN FRONT OF A 1925 RECITAL HALL I REMODELED IN TEMPE. ANDY . WEED@ GMAIL. COM

THIS IS THE SEARS NO. 1 SCREAMER. I GOT THIS FOR MY BIRTHDAY IN 1969 IN CEDAR RAPIDS IOWA. I~M SENDING THE PHOTO WITH THE DETAILS, AND THEN THE ORIGINAL LATER. EXCEPT FOR THE STICKERS ON THE SEAT, THIS BIKE WAS ALL ORIGINAL. THE PHOTO WAS TAKEN IN 1972 AFTER WE MOVED TO LINCOLN NEBRASKA. THE BIKE I HAD BEFORE THIS ONE WAS A SEARS 20 + 16 SCREAMER. IT WAS BLUE AND GOLD. THE CHAIN KEPT COMING OFF, SO MY DAD WENT BACK AND GOT THE NO. 1 SCREAMER.
