This is a tandem Sears Sportflite from the late 1950's or early '60s. It is a candy apple red. This bike was made by Huffy and is very similiar to the Huffy Daisy except that the Daisy had chrome fenders while the Sears are red with white stripes. I believe this bike is all original with great original matching red and white seats. The tires are Firestone Town and Country. The tires are 26 inch by 1.75 inches.

Did you know bicycles can actually be ridden in street clothes? Reading the big cycling magazines and web sites would make you think otherwise, so I decided to post a "Bicycle Picture Of The Day" using photos from our Vintage Bicycle Picture Database to remind us all that bikes are flexible, versatile, unique, personal and practical. * * * The comments with each photo are the comments of the person who submitted the photo. * * * All photos are (c)2024 Menotomy Vintage Bicycles.
