I had a slightly later model of an Overland bicycle. My parents bought it for me in 1947 for my 6th birthday. I believe it was purchased at Sears or Mongomery Wards in Denver, Colorado, but I could be wrong about the store. I owned it and rode it until I graduated from high school! Then my brother rode it for several years. A very sturdy bike that took a hell of a beating in my family and kept on tickin'. Thanks for posting the pic.
