Bicycle Type: Lightweight
AFTER MANY HOURS OF WEB SURFING I HAVE FIGURED OUT WHAT I HAVE HERE.. A RALEIGH BICYCLE THAT WAS MADE FOR EATONS CANADA AND BADGED AS A GLIDER. IT HAS RUBBER BLOCK PEDALS, A BROOKS SEAT AND A WILLIAMS CRANK, WITH THE HELP OF A FEW VINTAGE BIKE WEBSITES I WAS ABLE TO DETERMINE THE BIKE BUILD DATE TO BE 1960 BASED ON THE ZA STAMP ON THE CHAINWHEEL, I AM IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING IT A RIDEABLE BIKE AGAIN, INCLUDING FINDING THE RIGHT STURMEY ARCHER 3 SPEED REAR HUB. I ALSO HAVE THE REAR FENDER AND THE CHAIN GUARD WHICH ARE IN ACCEPTABLE CONDITION. IF ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE HAS ONE OF THESE I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU, CONTACT ME AT JAMESWEARLE @ GMAIL.COM
Did you know bicycles can actually be ridden in street clothes? How much is your bicycle worth? What is the history of your bike?
