RALEIGH DL1, DATED 1980 THIS BIKE WAS PURCHASED AS A GIFT FOR MY DAD~S RETIREMENT IN EARLY 1982 AFTER SITTING ON A SHELF IN THE BIKE SHOP FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. I PERSONALLY REMOVED THE BIKE FROM THE BOX AND ASSEMBLED IT, SO I KNOW THAT THE ONLY THINGS NOT ORIGINAL ARE MY DAD~S INITIALS ON THE TOP TUBE NEAR THE HEADSET. THIS ALL ORIGINAL, MINT BICYCLE IS A 1960 MEN~S (YES, IT IS AN ADULT BIKE) SCHWINN TORNADO. MY FATHER PURCHASED IT FOR ME AS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT (IT TAKES PLACE OF THE SHOTGUNS HE HAS BOUGHT FOR MY BROTHERS). THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN WHEN I HAD MY SENIOR PHOTOS SHOT. EVERYONE AT THE PHOTO PLACE LOOKED UPON IT WITH AWE! THIS IS MY FAVORITE RIDE NEXT TO MY STINGRAYS. OVER ALL, AN EXCELLENT BIKE. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK! :) ARCHINTO35@.COM
