Bicycle Type: Lightweight
RALEIGH DL1, DATED 1980 THIS BIKE WAS PURCHASED AS A GIFT FOR MY DAD~S RETIREMENT IN EARLY 1982 AFTER SITTING ON A SHELF IN THE BIKE SHOP FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. I PERSONALLY REMOVED THE BIKE FROM THE BOX AND ASSEMBLED IT, SO I KNOW THAT THE ONLY THINGS NOT ORIGINAL ARE MY DAD~S INITIALS ON THE TOP TUBE NEAR THE HEADSET. IT WAS THE LAST RALEIGH TOURIST SOLD AT THAT STORE. (AND PERHAPS THE LAST IMPORTED ENGLISH DL-1 IN THE U.S.) COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS WELCOME: COMPOTATO@AOL.COM
