1987 Univega Gran Rally This Univega Gran Rally I found in a shop that the owner had planned to fix up to sell, but had not gotten around to. He let me have it for $85.00, then threw in another old beater that is a long term project bike for me. I can not find much information about the Univega, but it has Shimano 600 components. All I have had to do to it to make it my wife~s ride was adjust the bars and add new tape. She really likes it, but we may have to replace the Italian Leather seat with one that is more female specific. The Univega does not fit me, but it actually rides and shifts a little better than the Trek.

1984 Univega Viva Touring 1984 Univega, "Viva Touring", 54cm, Black cherry color, serial# M313812, double butted chromoly frame tubes, mangalight fork, high tension stays, Sakae Randnner bars, SR stem, Suntour downtube shifters, Suntour BL derailleurs, Diacomp brake levers and cantilever brakes, Sakae CX crank w/52/46/36 rings (nice assortment for a triple), 14x32 six speed Suntour freewheel, Sunshine hubs laced to Araya 27x1 1/4 rims, and Univega Grand Touring tires 27x1 1/4.
