  2. My parents got one for me in 1978. They also had one in red with the yellow flames and red metal flake seat. The black ones were next to my blue one in the store and red was on the top racks.

  3. This was the only bike that I had when I was growing up in the 70's - 80's. It was a great bike and I was always customizing it. At one point, I added a Sony walkman under the seat hooked up to Roadmaster amplifier and two handle bar mounted speakers; nothing but pure distortion and treble. In the rear, I added two hollow "L" shaped pipes hooked up to small container with gasoline so it would shoot flames (it actually just dripped fire balls on the asphalt). The craziest thing I ever did was remove the seat, added an old book rack in its place, and mounted a self propelled lawn mower engine to it. It ran just one time with no brakes and no way to stop the wheel from spinning except by dropping it on its side or lifting the rear wheel off the ground. Great memories.... Thanks for the photo.

  4. My first bike as a kid in 1979. They had like someone posted red/yellow & black/yellow also. The seats were metal flake on all of them. First and only bicycle-choppers ever sold. The one I had was purchased through the Western Auto chain stores. I wanted that bike so bad at age 4 I had no other choice but to learn to ride before Christmas day that yr or else I knew I'd be looking at it instead of riding. It was stolen twice...and that really really sucks to this day. You have a nice bike there.
