1975 Motobecane Mirage 1975 Motobecane Mirage 52cm. Dia-comp centerpulls, suntour powershifters (stem mount), suntour v-comp front & sutour vgt rear derailleurs, rigida chromix 27 x 1 1/4 rims laced to mallard normandy hubs, cottered steel crank with 52x40 rings, suntour 32x14 freewheel. Bike in very good condition after overhaul.
I had one of these back in '75 that I ordered new from Open Air Bicycles in Santa Barbara when they were a shack on the beach. I wanted a Peugeot but the sales guy talked me into the Motobecane - I used to pedal from my apt in Venture to work in Oxnard daily and had a rack on the back of my VW... I miss that bike and would buy one today.
