1987 Ryobi motor adapted to bike Ryobi biycle motor second picture. To get a better idea of how this motor goes together, I have included this shot. The drive spindle is supported on the other side of the motor by a bearing. These motors have a half crank which is to say that there are only bearings on one side of the motor. Placing the bearing on the other side helps to support the spindle. If you leave the extra bearing off, there will be a bit more preasure on the one bearing inside the little motor.
