1941 - 1945 Firestone Vagabond Featherweight
1941 - 1945 Firestone Vagabond Featherweight 1943 Firestone, Vagabond Featherweight. WW2 rationing makes this bike extremely rare. Shimano hub (Japanese) is original to this bike, likely assembled before Pearl Harbor attack by Japanese. Rare, rare, rare!

Schwinn Varsity
1973 Schwinn Varsity 1973 Schwinn Varsity. All original except for the tires(I think). This is the first older bicycle that I have purchased, and for less that $6.00 it~s a steal. All I had to do was put a new tube in the front tire and off I went. It~s amazing that after almost 30 years this bike rides and operates perfectly. I~ve had it for less than a day and I wouldn~t dare think of geting rid of it. As a matter of fact, tomorrow I~m going to get more!

1965 Schwinn Varsity
1965 Schwinn Varsity This is a 1965 Schwinn Varsity that I restored. It was my grandfathers and it was left in a shed for about 20+ years and it was really rusted when I got it. The tires & tubes were shot, fenders were rusty, rims were rusty, handlebars were rusty, and it was dirty. It was just about ready to get thrown out but I saved it. I worked all summer and fixed it up. This is what it looks like now with fenders off of an old huffy from the 50~s. I had the original fenders all shined up but I liked these better. I have also recently added an old cable drive analog speedometer, new tires + tubes, and new cables. This bike never has let me down in anyway and it is a excellent bike. I treat it the way i would want to be treated if I was a bike.

1971 Schwinn Varsity
1971 Schwinn Varsity It was literally "only driven on Sunday~s by a little old lady" I refurbished mechanically and cosmetically. Although the cosmetic work is amateurish, my daughter is enjoying it~s use now. The metal "Schwinn" label on the front tube is all that remains of the original paint or decals. There was even an original decal identifying the retail shop her son purchased it from. (my memory only recalls that it was in Arizona) Please comment on any advice to continue upkeep. @hotmail.com

This bike has never seen a drop of rain. There are some scratches in the paint, but other than that its clean. Alls I did to restore is lube, (crank and headset grease looked like shelac came clean w/wd40), adjust and polish everything. Any questions email Richard at: .com

1974 Schwinn Varsity
1974 Schwinn Varsity This is a 1974 Schwinn Varsity with a 2hp Brigs & Stratton motor, The pedals are standard width, The engine mount, luggage rack, Tank, and Fork brace are hand made and all clamped/bolted on, No welding on frame. The PTO side of motor shaft has bin cut off and a v-belt pulley attached to a aluminum fly wheel, There is a friction drive wheel witch is locked down on the back tirer while pedaling, witch startes the motor and in turn powers the back wheel, When the lever on the side of the tank is released from it~s locking gate poshion, the drive wheel disengages from the back wheel and a kill wire stops the motor and you continue pedaling. The wheeles are old stile coster brake style, The motor came off a rototiller and had all the forced air shrouds removed and turned into a free air, I have been riding this bike for two Yrs. in Florida and have not experinced any over heating problems. I have more detailed pic~s if you are intrested, At ( )

1967 Raleigh Winkie
1967 Raleigh Winkie We have obtained a trike that my husband used to ride as a youngster in England, and then here in the States. It had Raleigh written all over it, and the model name appears to be "Winkie". Not sure of the date of manufacture and cannot find the serial number. Have had no luck in finding anything on the rear hub.
